Singapore Airlines launched a new award sale with discounted flights across its global network. And several routes from the U.S. are included.

KrisFlyer members can save 15% on select economy and premium economy awards booked through September 20, 2026. The discounted flights are available for travel between November 1, 2026, and May 31, 2027.

From the U.S., the options range from Singapore Airlines’ New York to Frankfurt flight to its nonstop routes to Singapore. There are also discounted flights throughout Asia and between Singapore and destinations in Europe, Australia, and elsewhere.

Flights From the U.S. Start at 23,375 Miles

The cheapest U.S. option in the sale doesn’t require a trip to Singapore at all.

Singapore Airlines flies between New York (JFK) and Frankfurt (FRA) as part of a longer route that continues to Singapore. That flight is available for 23,375 KrisFlyer miles each way in economy during the sale.

There’s another fifth-freedom option on the West Coast, too. These flights allow Singapore Airlines to carry passengers between two countries outside its home country.

The airline flies between Los Angeles (LAX) and Tokyo (NRT), with discounted awards starting at 36,125 miles each way.

For a trip all the way to Singapore, nonstop flights from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Seattle start at 37,400 miles.

Here are the U.S. economy options included in the sale:

The promotion has a general blackout period from December 1, 2026, through January 10, 2027. Some routes have additional blackout dates, and only the flight numbers listed by Singapore Airlines qualify for the discount.

Premium Economy Starts at 67,150 Miles

There are fewer U.S. options in premium economy. Several of Singapore Airlines’ longest flights are included, though.

San Francisco to Singapore starts at 67,150 miles each way. Flights between the New York area and Singapore start at 71,825 miles.

The full Global Redemption Sale extends well beyond these U.S. options. Singapore Airlines is also discounting eligible economy awards throughout Asia and on routes connecting Singapore with Europe, Australia, and other destinations.

How to Get KrisFlyer Miles

KrisFlyer is Singapore Airlines’ loyalty program. Flying with the airline isn’t the only way to earn its miles.

Several major credit card rewards programs allow points to be transferred to KrisFlyer. That includes American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One miles, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards.

There’s one complication. Singapore Airlines restricts award searches for accounts without at least 1,000 KrisFlyer miles. That makes it difficult to check whether a discounted Promo award is available with an empty account.

One workaround is to transfer 1,000 points to KrisFlyer first. Once those miles arrive, it’s possible to search for available awards before transferring the much larger balance needed to book a flight.

Note that eligible discounted flights appear under the “Promo” fare option when searching Singapore Airlines’ website or app.

Know Before Booking

The 15% discount comes with stricter rules than a normal KrisFlyer Saver award.

Tickets booked through the sale can’t be changed or canceled, even if they’re completely unused. Waitlisting and stopovers aren’t allowed, either.

That’s different from many award tickets, which can often be canceled and the miles returned to the loyalty account.

Bookings must be completed through Singapore Airlines’ website or app by September 20, 2026. Availability is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
