    Capital One Venture Launches New 75K-Mile Offer With $300 Stays Credit

    There’s a brand-new welcome offer on the venture_full: Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card.

    The offer combines the card’s familiar 75,000-mile bonus with a new $300 credit for hotel and vacation rental bookings through Capital One Travel.

    The venture_short: Capital One Venture Card earns at least 2X miles per dollar on purchases and has a $95 annual fee.

    Here’s what to know about the new offer.

    Capital One Venture Card Offer Overview

    New venture_short: Capital One Venture Card holders can take advantage of the following offer:

    {{ credit-card-widget uri=”venture” }}

    The 75,000-mile bonus isn’t new. That’s the same number of miles the Venture card offered previously.

    The addition is the $300 Capital One Travel Stays credit. It can be used toward hotels and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel during the first cardholder year.

    The entire $300 can be used on one booking or split across multiple eligible bookings. If a booking is canceled before the credit expires, Capital One says the credit will be restored as long as it hasn’t expired.

    Purchases covered by the credit don’t earn miles.

    And importantly, this is a one-time welcome-offer benefit. It’s not a recurring $300 annual credit on the venture_short: Capital One Venture Card.

    What Else Comes With the Venture Card?

    The venture_short: Capital One Venture Card is fairly straightforward when it comes to earning miles.

    Cardholders get unlimited 2X miles per dollar on every purchase, every day. The card also earns unlimited 5X miles on hotels, vacation rentals, and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel.

    It has a $95 annual fee and charges no foreign transaction fees. It also includes up to a $120 credit for Global Entry or TSA PreCheck.

    Capital One miles don’t expire for the life of the account. There are also several ways to use them.

    One option is redeeming miles toward eligible travel purchases. Capital One miles are worth 1 cent each this way, making 75,000 miles worth $750 toward eligible travel expenses.

    Miles can also be used to book travel through Capital One Travel.

    Another option is transferring miles to an airline or hotel loyalty program. Most Capital One partners transfer at a 1:1 ratio, including programs such as Air Canada Aeroplan, Air France-KLM Flying Blue, and British Airways Club.

    Other redemption options include gift cards and cash back. The value of a Capital One mile varies depending on how it’s redeemed.

    Who Is Eligible for the Welcome Offer?

    There is an important application rule to know about this offer.

    “You are not eligible for this product if you have received a new cardmember bonus for the Capital One Venture card or the Capital One Venture X card in the past 48 months.”

    That means someone who received a venture_x_full: Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card welcome bonus during the past four years wouldn’t be eligible for the venture_short: Capital One Venture Card bonus, either.

    What Could 75,000 Capital One Miles Help Book?

    Seventy-five thousand Capital One miles can cover $750 in eligible travel purchases. Transferring the miles to an airline or hotel program can open up some different possibilities.

    For example, 75,000 miles could be enough for two round-trip economy tickets to Europe, four round-trip tickets on some shorter domestic routes, or even a one-way business-class ticket across the Atlantic.

    Those aren’t just theoretical examples. Points Insider found several trips bookable for 75,000 miles, including options for couples, families, and a lie-flat trip to Europe.

    The $300 Capital One Travel Stays credit is separate from the 75,000 miles. It could cover part or all of an eligible hotel or vacation rental while the miles are used for something else.

    Last Call: Earn Up to 200K Points or $1,000 Cash Back With These Chase Business Cards

    Chase has a handful of elevated offers available on its business credit cards right now.

    Depending on the card, new cardholders can earn as many as 200,000 Ultimate Rewards points or $1,000 cash back after meeting a spending requirement.

    There are several offers to sort through, but the good news is that the distinction between points and cash back isn’t quite as important as it might seem. And qualifying for a business card can be more straightforward than the name suggests.

    Here’s what’s available right now.

    Elevated Chase Business Card Welcome Offers Are Available

    Several Chase business cards are currently offering elevated welcome bonuses, including cards that earn Ultimate Rewards points and others marketed as earning cash back.

    The offers, spending requirements, annual fees, and other benefits vary by card. Click “Learn More” on any card for a closer look.

    Ultimate Rewards cards

    The Chase business credit cards below earn Ultimate Rewards points. Those points can be transferred to Chase’s airline and hotel partners, redeemed for travel through Chase Travel, and used in several other ways.

    Each card varies in its earning rates, benefits, annual fee, and current welcome offer.

    Cash back cards

    Chase also offers a couple of business cards that are marketed as cash-back cards. Both have no annual fee and identical bonuses, but they differ in how they earn rewards.

    {{ credit-card-widget uri=”inkbusinesscash” }}

    {{ credit-card-widget uri=”inkbusinessunlimited” }}

    Anyone interested in traveling with points and miles might be inclined to ignore a cash-back card. But there’s a useful trick for anyone who also has a Chase card that earns Ultimate Rewards points.

    That cash back doesn’t necessarily have to stay cash back.

    Points or Cash Back? They Can Be Combined

    Chase markets some cards as earning cash back. But behind the scenes, those rewards can function a lot like Ultimate Rewards points.

    Every $1 in cash back is equivalent to 100 points. Rewards from an eligible cash-back card can then be combined with an Ultimate Rewards account from a points-earning Chase card.

    For example, someone with a Chase Sapphire Preferred Card who earns $1,000 cash back from a cash-back Ink Business card could combine those rewards and end up with 100,000 additional Ultimate Rewards points. The same idea works with an eligible business card that earns points, such as the Ink Business Preferred.

    That matters because Ultimate Rewards points are incredibly versatile. They can be transferred to Chase’s airline and hotel partners, redeemed for travel through Chase, used for statement credits, and more.

    In other words, an offer advertised as $1,000 cash back could effectively become 100,000 Ultimate Rewards points with the right combination of Chase cards.

    Who Can Get a Business Card?

    A business credit card does require a business. But that doesn’t necessarily mean a company with employees, an office, or a huge amount of revenue.

    Traditional businesses can qualify, but so can many sole proprietors, freelancers, independent contractors, and people earning money from a side business.

    A group of colleagues working together in a contemporary office environment, focused on collaboration and teamwork to achieve professional goals. This setting embodies a productive and dynamic workplace atmosphere.

    There are also some important restrictions to know about these welcome offers.

    For the Ink Business Preferred and Sapphire Reserve for Business, Chase says the new-cardmember bonus may not be available to anyone who has ever had that particular card. Chase also says it may consider factors related to the business when determining bonus eligibility.

    The language is broader for the no-annual-fee Ink Business Cash and Ink Business Unlimited. Chase says the bonus may not be available to anyone who has ever had that card or any other Chase for Business card without an annual fee.

    That means previous Chase business cards can matter even when applying for a different card, particularly with the no-annual-fee Ink cards.

    New Delta Amex Offers Include 200,000 Miles and Two Round-Trip Flight Certificates

    Delta flyers have a new opportunity to pick up a substantial number of SkyMiles.

    American Express rolled out elevated welcome offers across its lineup of Delta credit cards, with the largest offering up to 200,000 bonus SkyMiles.

    That’s enough to get our attention. But the amount of miles isn’t the only thing worth considering.

    Each card comes with a different annual fee, spending requirement, and set of Delta benefits, so it helps to start with what you actually want from the card and where those miles could take you.

    Elevated Delta Amex Welcome Offers Are Available

    There are elevated offers across both the personal and business Delta card lineups. Click “Learn More” on any card below to see the full offer and application details.

    Delta Personal Credit Cards

    Delta offers three personal cards with elevated welcome offers, ranging from the Gold to the more premium Platinum and Reserve cards.

    Think About Where the Miles Could Take You

    A big welcome offer is only useful if the miles help you take a trip you actually want to take.

    Delta doesn’t publish an award chart (a reference showing how many miles an award should cost). Instead, award prices can vary considerably depending on the route and date.

    Before applying for a card primarily for the welcome offer, it’s worth seeing what Delta is charging for trips you’re interested in taking.

    You can search Delta SkyMiles award availability directly through PointsYeah, along with other supported airline programs. That gives you a better idea of what the miles could get you before deciding how useful a particular welcome offer would be.

    {{ search-widget mode=”flight” }}

    And if you end up with one of these Delta cards, there’s another benefit when it’s time to use those miles.

    A perk called “TakeOff 15” gives eligible cardholders at least 15% off the mileage price of eligible Delta-operated award flights. There’s no limit to how many times you can use the benefit, and the discount appears when you’re logged into the SkyMiles account associated with an eligible card.

    The elevated welcome offers won’t be around forever. But whether one is right for you ultimately depends on where those miles can take you.
